Our goal is to provide the highest quality architectural service
based on our commitment to creativity, technical excellence and attention to
detail. Each project is looked at as a unique challenge, matched to a specific
site and an individual client's requirements. There is no single design style
that is emulated; rather, the image and detailing evolve during the design
process. We are equally adept at providing cutting edge designs or ones that are historically influenced.
It is our firm’s belief that architectural design excellence
should not be sacrificed for environmental principals. On the contrary, green
design expands the possibilities for new and innovative architectonic forms,
construction methods, and material uses.
As an early signatory to the AIA’s 2030 Commitment and an entirely
LEED accredited staff, we are dedicated to significantly reducing each
buildings CO2 emissions. To accomplish this, designs are reviewed throughout
the process to see how best to utilize green materials, advanced construction
methods, and energy efficiency techniques. This total systems integration
helps to lessen the impact of the building through its entire life cycle, from
construction, during its use, and at the end of its life. An analysis of the
project’s carbon footprint is available and encouraged.
Design Process
Our first and foremost goal is to design excellent spaces that are
program specific, cost effective, energy and resource efficient, and healthy.
We explore all options carefully and thoroughly, which ensures that the design
meets both the client’s exacting expectations and our high standards.
As part of the design process, we review multiple schemes to allow
for creative and productive discussions. By providing a wide range of design
options at the beginning stages of the project, we are able to see what unique
possibilities are available and know with confidence that the chosen solution
is really the best one.
Production Methods
Fully rendered three-dimensional computer modeling is available
which allows early visualization of the buildings and spaces during the
critical early design stage. Photorealistic images, animations, virtual tours
and solar shading studies all help the design come to life. Construction
document production and project management utilize state of the art software to
improve efficiency and better integrate into the overall architecture process.
